Position Overview:
Kapuna Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting healthcare professionals in delivering the best possible care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure Management:
– Maintain and oversee the hospital’s IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and workstations.
– Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
2. User Support:
– Provide technical support to hospital/office/store staff for IT-related issues.
– Train and assist users in utilising IT systems effectively and securely.
3. Security and Data Protection:
– Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard patient data and hospital information.
– Regularly update and patch systems to protect against cyber threats.
4. System Administration:
– Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring data access and privacy compliance.
– Manage backups and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data.
5. Software and Application Management:
– Install, configure, and maintain software applications used in hospital operations.
– Collaborate with departments to identify software needs and optimize workflows.
6. Technology Integration:
– Explore opportunities for the integration of new technologies to improve healthcare delivery.
– Assist in the adoption of telemedicine and digital health solutions.
7. Documentation:
– Maintain comprehensive records of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
– Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
8. Vendor Management:
– Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for equipment procurement and maintenance.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

As a senior accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
