Primary/Secondary Teacher position for 2025

Location of job: Kapuna Life School, Gulf Province, Papua New Guinea
Timing of the job: January 2025 – December 2025 and possibly longer 
Duration of the job: At least one school year
 
Introduction:
The Kapuna Life School has grown in the last 20 years from a group of twenty children to a school with five classrooms and teachers, teaching almost 100 students. Many more families would like to send their children to the Kapuna Life school, especially to highschool, since there are not many alternatives for our teenagers to go to. We need trained teachers, to teach our kids.
 
Responsibilities :
As a teacher in the Kapuna Life School you will be responsible for:
– Teaching one Grade for one year
– Supervising teacher interns
 
Who we are looking for :
We are looking for primary/secondary school teachers. For this job we need a Christian, proficient in english and willing to adapt to the PNG culture. In order to live and enjoy life in this remote place, it would be good if you are flexible and able to cope with different living conditions. Other than that we are hoping that you are a committed Christian who is open to fellowship with our community.

Position Overview:
Kapuna Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting healthcare professionals in delivering the best possible care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure Management:
– Maintain and oversee the hospital’s IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and workstations.
– Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

2. User Support:
– Provide technical support to hospital/office/store staff for IT-related issues.
– Train and assist users in utilising IT systems effectively and securely.

3. Security and Data Protection:
– Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard patient data and hospital information.
– Regularly update and patch systems to protect against cyber threats.

4. System Administration:
– Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring data access and privacy compliance.
– Manage backups and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data.

5. Software and Application Management:
– Install, configure, and maintain software applications used in hospital operations.
– Collaborate with departments to identify software needs and optimize workflows.

6. Technology Integration:
– Explore opportunities for the integration of new technologies to improve healthcare delivery.
– Assist in the adoption of telemedicine and digital health solutions.

7. Documentation:
– Maintain comprehensive records of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
– Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

8. Vendor Management:
– Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for equipment procurement and maintenance.
– Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.

9. Training and Development:

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

As a senior accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:
